Album: November Trip to the Port of Ostrov

Visiting the port of Ostrov in November was a quiet and reflective experience. The Danube always feels different in the colder months – calmer, slower, and wrapped in a certain stillness. The riverbank was almost empty, with just a few people moving about, and the air carried that crisp late-autumn chill.
Ostrov is a small village, but standing by the port you really feel its connection to the wider Danube region. The river has a way of shaping life around it, and even in November, it offers moments of beauty that are worth capturing. I focused my lens on the patterns of the water, the silhouettes of the boats, and the way the muted winter light touched everything in a softer tone.
This album brings together the photos from that day, a mix of landscapes and details that reflect the atmosphere of a quiet November trip by the Danube.
The photos were taken on 16.11.2024.
